I'm still new enough to drifting that I remember all the things I wondered about before I started like: How much does it cost? How many tires do you go through? What do I really need to do to my car? Do I need 300 horsepower? Is a hydro required? How much does it cost to drive at a track? What kind of tires should I buy? Are new or used tires better?
I'm not an expert at all because I've only been drifting for about a year, but I have done a respectable number of events in that time (12) and being new to the scene I still remember worrying about all this stuff before my first event.
Check out this video, and if you like what you see, hit my channel because there's probably a video or two or three about everything I cover here.
The bottom line? Drifting is very expensive and worth every penny! Do it!
