(2 Mar 2015) GIORGIO ARMANI PRESENTS NEW COLLECTION ON LAST DAY OF MILAN FASHION WEEK
The Giorgio Armani was among the top brands showcasing new collections on the final day of Milan Fashion Week, Monday (2 March.)
Attending the Armani show was Camera della Moda CEO Jane Reeve.
She described the autumn-winter 2015/2016 collection as ''very elegant and beautiful as always."
The collection featured an abundance of trousers, which Reeve was fascinated by.
"I can see a lot of trousers which are nice. That shows that even trousers can be really elegant and the shapes and the design are sort of innovative, so I thought that was really pretty," she said.
Colors for daywear items were pastel and delicate, shown over black or grey.
Suits were worn with round necks, that were applied like accessories.
The collection also featured light skirts over skinny trousers.
A beautiful light and soft sky blue coat with a round neck and a green jacket made of leather designed like a "puzzle" were intriguing.
"I had a pants, black pants and a kind of silk top and a jacket and it was made like a puzzle, with leather stuff. It was so beautiful," said model Nastya Zhidkikh of the jacket she wore during the show.
Evening wear was delicate with shiny fabrics and embellishments.
Colors included sage, black, grey, green, violet and some pink.
Velvet garments with silk linings and large belts on the waist were a reminder of Armani's strong heritage.
