Penns Creek is one of the most well known trout fisheries in the Northeast. Hundreds of anglers fish here on opening weekend. Meanwhile, after the first few days of trout season pressure dwindles and trout remain. We drove to this Central Pennsylvania icon three weeks after a trout plant by the Pennsylvania Fish & Boat Commission and armed with Pautzke salmon eggs caught and released dozens of trout while filming this episode of Pautzke Outdoors in a short two hours.
