JustAnswer Customer: I have a Bosch refrigerator that won't stop beeping.
JustAnswer Customer: How do I restart it so that it stops.?
Techdesk: Field Service Engineer: Hiya, Can you post the model number of the appliance please?
Techdesk: Field Service Engineer: Thanks
JustAnswer Customer: Hi there I am not sure the model number - off the local website it looks like the KSR 38A 001E or the KSR 38 V 41 1E but with a fridge /freezer combination.
JustAnswer Customer: We turned it off this mornging to defrost and it has been making a noise since then - about 6hours or so.
JustAnswer Customer: Hope this helps, it is driving us nuts!
Techdesk: Field Service Engineer: Hiya, The model number should be on a ticket, normally hidden behind the salad drawers in the fridge.
Techdesk: Field Service Engineer: Thanks
JustAnswer Customer: Okay so there was a ticket behind the salad drawers - I think the number you are looking for is KIE 3044 1IE/02 or it could be KIEE 30A
Techdesk: Field Service Engineer: Hiya, OK, thanks for that.
Techdesk: Field Service Engineer: I'm assuming the beeping started after the defrost and you switched it back on?
Techdesk: Field Service Engineer: Is there any indication on the display?
Techdesk: Field Service Engineer: Flashing lights?
Techdesk: Field Service Engineer: Dashes?
Techdesk: Field Service Engineer: Is there any cooling in the fridge or the freezer?
Techdesk: Field Service Engineer: The more you can tell me the better.
Techdesk: Field Service Engineer: Thanks
JustAnswer Customer: yes once I turned it back on.
JustAnswer Customer: The temperature display is flashing, and continues to do so no matter what temperature it is.
JustAnswer Customer: Yes it is cooling.
JustAnswer Customer: But I filled the fridge when I turned it back on, more so than usual and so it seems that it might be battling to cool the load?
Techdesk: Field Service Engineer: Hiya, It is possible but I'd expect it to be down to temperature or near enough to stop the beeping after 6 hours.
Techdesk: Field Service Engineer: Click here for the user manual I've given a link to the user manual, in case you need it.
Techdesk: Field Service Engineer: It shows you can press a button with the symbol of a speaker with a cross through it this will silence the alarm.
Techdesk: Field Service Engineer: If you have a fridge thermostat, find out what the temperature is and see if it drops any in the next hour.
Techdesk: Field Service Engineer: Let me know what happens.
Techdesk: Field Service Engineer: It is possible that the load in the fridge is causing it to take much longer to cool down.
Techdesk: Field Service Engineer: You could try taking some of it out and adding it after it's got down to temperature.
Techdesk: Field Service Engineer: Hope this is of some help.
Techdesk: Field Service Engineer: Thanks
