On October 22nd 2020, we celebrate the Scholars at Queens College during a special virtual event. The Queens College Academic Excellence Award Ceremony takes place in the fall semester and recognizes undergraduate students from the prior academic year’s Dean’s List. In order to be eligible for this ceremony, full-time students must have made the Dean’s List* for both fall and spring semesters of said academic year. Please check your transcript in August as Dean’s List is added to your transcript in July of each year. If you believe that you should have been on the Dean’s List for a particular semester and were not, please ask the Registrar to review your transcript.
Part-time students who have achieved a minimum GPA of 3.5 in the two consecutive fall and spring semesters with a minimum of 12 letter-quality credits combined will also be honored at this ceremony.
Special honor goes to students who have a cumulative GPA of 3.750-3.899. They will be celebrated as Provost Scholars; students with a cumulative GPA of 3.900-4.000 will be celebrated as Presidential Scholars.
