First lady Jill Biden visited Tampa on Monday afternoon to launch a campaign organizing initiative for veterans and military families.
Biden planned stops in North Carolina, Georgia and Florida to deliver remarks at a couple of events. In a news release, the Veterans and Military Families for Biden-Harris initiative is a national outreach program that will "engage and mobilize millions of veterans and military families across the country through battleground state events, relational organizing and online engagement."
She is visiting those three states since they have high populations of veterans and military families, according to the release.
