We started by taking an early morning trip with Dave in his Bugatti to Goodwood for breakfast. Today was a gathering for only convertible, soft-top, and non-roof cars; many motorbikes were also welcomed. On the way there were different countryside and B Road scenes, and also some short tunnel echo fun. After we arrived it took a while to find a suitable parking space (so many cars turned up); so while we waited for a space I took a look at some of the aeroplane displays (takeoff and landing) and some acrobatic stunts. We then parked in a Tesco carpark (rare find within Goodwood), then moved to a free space on the track itself. Later we met Cliff in his Silver Bugatti at the track, along with many other cars; classic and modern. While we admired the cars, Angelo got some TV attention from the Goodwood Media. Great weather towards the middle of the day; when the event had finished we all had one last blast through the tunnel (lots of fun with the combined sound of 14 cylinders) and drove home through the winding roads and beautiful scenery.
