Back-bending can be very intimidated at the beginning, however, once you start practicing you will most likely fall in love with it. The benefits of working on your back flexibility are huge. The biggest one would be improving your posture by opening your shoulders, your chest, your abdomen, your quads and your hip flexors. Backbends are an opportunity for you to release all the tension associated with sitting down too much. Make sure to take this practice slow and mindfully to avoid any potential damage to your low back. Hope you enjoy this backbend yoga sequence :) Lets get that wheel pose!!!
