As we all know, one of the secrets to diving deeper is to be able to relax. Yin yoga is a set sequence of lying down or sitting postures that you hold. This practice is best for freediving, as it helps you to understand where in your body and mind you're holding tension, and where you can relax.
In this video, Natalie Rudman, a South African freediver, instructor & yoga teacher, shows a series of lung stretches that will help you have better flexibility in your ribcage, in your lungs, in your diaphragm, and be able to handle pressure, while diving deeper. They will also help you to take a much deeper breath before you start your dive.
