Guar gum stock - 1/2 tsp per 1 cup of water. Mixed in a magic bullet blender.
200 g presoaked in tap water + 3 T white vinegar for 30+ min
[1:56] Mixing the dye: 1/3 cup of guar gum or water + 1/3 cup 1% acid dye stock solution (Dark Navy, Deep Purple, and Frozen)
[3:55] Painting the yarn with foam brushes
[10:50] Steaming the yarn in a steamer basket on the stove top for 30 min
[12:22] Unwrapping the yarn
[14:02] Washing and spin drying the yarn
[16:04] The finished dry yarn and conclusions
