Brief overview of deep rim Carbon Wheels in particular the Mavic Cosmic Wheels as fitted to my Specialized SL4 - General reliability / Strength & Performance over continuous use with a heavy rider - A premium wheel set is essentially deemed generally as the best upgrade you can do to improve your road bike.
I’ve been very impressed with these wheels over the years of ownership and have never had to have them adjusted be it from hub issues or broken spokes .. Strong & True - Fast and Responsive and aesthetically they look the part - you can change / replace the wheel graphics as and when you deem necessary - I have never had the need to change my own Graphics they still look sharp.
I was mindful on purchasing as I am what you would call a heavier rider @ 110kg - but the wheels haven’t missed a beat - so whether you choose some SLS or SL40 or SL45 or indeed any of the range I am sure you will be satisfied with your selection.
It’s always a true saying you get what you pay for & from my experience Mavic are a first class choice.
