To choose to remember, I decided to adapt ancient Chinese art designs into the modern international world with the most popular peony paintings. The journey has just started; I am so excited about it.
Peony is the No.1 chosen by Chinese artists in traditional flower paintings. The varied creation of these flowers from the artists inspired many other creators to use peony patterns to decorate their creations. We often find it on silk embroidery, national clothes, porcelain items, palace wall decoration, hand fans, and more.
Tang Dynasty was a Flourishing period in Chinese history. Artists created many legends in all art forms during that time. It was also a peak time for Chinese culture and thus catered to the cultural fashion for people during that period in time. Today, to ordinary Chinese, the art of peonies still represented the hope of a life of wealth.
