The Open Championship takes great pride in welcoming back former champions to the world's oldest golf tournament. And it is always wonderful to see Tiger Woods competing for the Claret Jug.
Back in 2004 at The 133rd Open, Royal Troon saw Tiger in search of his second Open victory (following his triumph in 2000). By this point, Woods had been World No.1 for over 1800 days, so expectations were high.
The American was watched closely throughout the tournament, but he was unable to claim victory - finishing tied for 9th, alongside Canada's Mike Weir, while Todd Hamilton won the major after a dramatic playoff with Ernie Els.
These are the best moments from Tiger Woods at The Open in 2004.
