This is an easy and delicious recipe to make a classic beef stew using a packet of Kinder’s stew seasoning. It’s definitely worth having a few of these in your pantry when you just don’t feel like gathering a ton of spices to make beef stew from scratch. And oh by the way, Steve couldn’t stop raving about how good the gravy was. He took the last of it to work the other day and made sure to bring some bread to sop it up because he was determined not to let a drop of it go to waste.

Instant Pot Duo 6 Quart: [ Ссылка ]
Today’s Ingredients:
1½ lbs stew meat, 1” chunks (chuck roast in the video)
2 TB all-purpose flour
1.2 oz packet Kinder’s Stew Seasoning (Grandpa’s Beef Stew: Rich Homestyle Stew)
1 TB tomato paste
1 tsp Better-than-Bouillon roasted beef base
1 cup water
1 lb potatoes, 1” - 1½” chunks, unpeeled (russets in the video)
½ lb carrots, large chopped
½ lb onions, large chopped
½ lb celery, large chopped
Instructions:
1. In a large bowl or a ziptop bag, toss the stew meat with 2 tablespoons flour. Try to coat each piece as evenly as possible.
2. In an unheated Instant Pot, add the Kinder’s stew seasoning packet, tomato paste, beef base, and water. Stir to dissolve the seasoning and break up the paste and beef base. They don’t have to be fully dissolved.
3. Add the floured beef and spread out in an even layer.
4. Continue layering with the remaining vegetables – potatoes, carrots, onions, and celery – spreading each layer out as you go.
5. Lock and seal the lid. Cook on high for 40 minutes followed by a 15 minute natural release. Then release any remaining pressure before reopening the lid.
6. Serve and ENJOY!
