You'd have to spend 4-5 times the current price of the Beyerdynamic DT880 Pro, 600 Ohm version to find another headphone that can match its hyper-detail. But do you need a massive amplifier to power them? Will the treble, in fact, be terrible as some have suggested?

Spoilers: NO, they don't need huge gobs of power, and NO the treble is actually smooth and tonally accurate. And YES there are a few caveats to keep in mind so you can get the best sound out of them.
