Changi Airport's Terminal 4, which is currently closed to flights, could be used to process travellers from higher-risk countries. Currently, travellers undergo immigration and testing at Terminal 2's bus gates as the building is under renovation. The move will be on top of existing physical segregation. Staff are split into zones, with more frequent testing for those working in higher-risk areas like departure and arrival gates. 95% of frontline aviation workers are fully vaccinated. Transport Minister S Iswaran said the air hub must continue to stay flexible to ensure it's safe for both passengers and workers.
