Concept : Theory of evolution, healing, transformation, growth; the idea of a new conscious world.
Under the Sun, we’re all tied together, tied by the very virtue of being human. However loosely we may be tied to each other, but that is the very truth of existence. While it’s true that each one of us are living our own lives, that were largely unbothered by the events in someone else’s life, something always holds us together, and that’s growth, evolution. “Blooming Tales” by Siddhartha Bansal borrows heavily from this loose thread tying us to one another and the reasons why it never breaks, and will perhaps always remain, even if it keeps loosening up. In a world where we all have a lot of conscious healing to do, Blooming Tales rests largely on spiritual growth and the theory of evolution and transformation.
While evolution is a natural phenomenon, Blooming Tales looks beyond it, and into what it means to consciously evolve, as human beings, into newer versions of our own self and of humanity. Taking inspiration from nature, Siddhartha’s natural affinity towards flora and his eagerness to study historical techniques of art, this collection is an ode to humanity’s ability to evolve with nature, and to the Murano craftsmanship, something that Bansal fell instantly in love with given his fascination with glass art. Blooming Tales blends the artistic layers of nature and those mankind has consciously created over time to depict healing - on a more emotional and spiritual level. With silhouettes of ease, Siddhartha Bansal’s seasonless pret e porter collection, oozes the freshness of poppies swaying on a new Spring morning to evening glows and everything in between. It’s almost as of you can smell a field of poppies on the runway, and perhaps off Instagram and meta world for beautiful dream.
Thought of the designer -
We move from one place to another
Determined by choices
We squeeze our way
Through a sea of poppies
Where awareness awaits
A field full of hay
Some flowers, if you may
A rush of wind
Moonlight creeping in
To touch the earth at base.
