On 23 September, Dreweatts are delighted to be offering The David Winston Piano Collection. Ahead of the auction, David Winston sits down with his friend concert pianist, Dame Imogen Cooper, as they discuss how they met, the collection, as well as Lot 19, a rare Pleyel double grand piano, which can be seen here being played by Dame Imogen Cooper and Xiaowen Shang from the Royal Academy of Music, London. Please note this was recorded live in a non-studio setting.
