Taylor Swift has taken on and won many battles over the course of her career - from streaming giants to record labels, and now it seems as though the musician could be the key to unlocking legislation to tackle deepfakes online. The hashtag #protecttaylorswift had appeared on social media, as a way for people to highlight the need to prioritise people’s safety, when it comes to combatting explicit fake imagery.
