In a major setback to former Pakistan prime minister Imran Khan, the election commission has disqualified him from holding public office for five years in the Toshakhana case for hiding proceeds from the sale of gifts he received from foreign leaders. Lawmakers from the ruling coalition government had filed a case with the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) in August. Imran Khan's team says they will challenge the order in Islamabad High Court.
