Today I’m giving you an impromptu tour of my art studio / art room! I’m in the process of organizing and decorating so you will get to see it now before it’s complete! I want my art studio to inspire me and I want to enjoy creating in my special space. I love color and texture and bohemian style so of course that is exactly how I have designed and decorated my art studio. It is kind of a boho gypsy style and makes me happy just looking at it! I have painted my cabinets a pretty pink and have an antique turquoise tin backsplash. I will be doing a faux finish on the counter top to create a marble look and have just hung my Edison bulb light fixtures.
Check out the original acrylic paintings I have lining my staircase as we head down to my art studio. The stairwell makes a great place to hang my artwork for display while I’m waiting for it to sell online through my Etsy shop or social media. My art studio / art room is in my home and consists of a little craft / painting nook for when I paint smaller canvases and then I have a more open area with my large easel for when I paint my larger canvases. The cabinetry is perfect for holding all of my art supplies, extra acrylic paints, paper, canvases, frames, packing supplies and so on.
My art studio used to be in my dining room so I am so glad I now have an official space just for myself and my artwork.
