On 16th of July, 2022 the minister of Animal & Husbandry who is also the local MLA of the Shillong South Constituency, Sanbor Shullai inagurated the Municipal Organic Market cum Office and Dorbar Hall of the Lumshatsngi-Kench's Trace locality. This project was initiated, recommended and inaugurated by South Shillong MLA, Sanbor Shullai
at a cost of Rs. 4. 41 crore. the newly inaugurated market complex consists of about 40 stalls.
