England legend and 1966 World Cup winner George Cohen has died aged 83.

Cohen was one of Fulham’s greatest ever players, having spent his entire career with 459 appearances for the Whites.

A Fulham statement read: “Everyone associated with Fulham Football Club is desperately saddened to learn of the passing of one of our greatest ever players – and gentlemen – George Cohen MBE.
