Arizona cornerback Lorenzo Burns spent many days as a kid hanging out at UTEP games and practices as youngster in El Paso. His father, DeChon Burns, was on the defensive coaching staff under Mike Price at UTEP. And, Arizona safety Tristan Cooper grew up in El Paso and went to Andress High School.
