Johnstown Incline plane is the largest funicular in the world, measuring about 34 feet long, 15 feet wide and 15 feet tall. It was built in 1891 initially to transport people during floods to the hilltop then later used for transporting horses and wagons too. Another amazing fact about this incline is it is listed in the Guinness book of World records as the “The steepest vehicular inclined plane in the world”.
