Here we have Toki’s final stage, which is totally unique. It has new environments to explore and covers a part Kenshiro was present for, but didn’t actually do any of the fighting. This is also my favorite stage in the story mode.
We explore the outskirts of the Hokuto Dojo to start off with, disabling the ‘traps’ by activating the keystones scattered around the map. I dunno what traps they were talking about but either way, you have to turn on the 7 keystones to progress. There’s nothing particularly stand out about the stage as far as enemies go.
What I liked the most was once we reach the end and get to fight Raoh. The cutscenes are done really well here and there’s actually a lot of emotion between Raoh and Toki that you just completely miss if you only play Kenshiro’s story. It’s pretty cool and I get the feeling it was a great moment in the original story as well.
