The City of Marion released body camera footage from the two officers involved in a deadly shooting incident on Thursday.
Viewer discretion is advised.
The victim, 29-year-old Prince Kingly Gurley, died in the shooting in the area of East Liberty Street just after 3:30 a.m., Thursday, according to Marion County Coroner Jerry Richardson.
The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division confirmed in a press release the man who was killed was armed with a knife.
The beginning of the footage shows an officer, we are unsure of which officer, walking towards the home where a disturbance call had just been made.
