This year is the 96th year San Jose has held the event. Every year in the City of San Jose the California Department of Veterans Affairs helps sponsor the Veteran’s Day parade with the help from the City of San Jose’s Mayor’s Office and City Council in Downtown San Jose. Many thanked the veterans and promised to help find housing for homeless vets here in Santa Clara County. But for those attending the parade the experience was more for remembering family and loved ones who have served, who are serving and or have lost their life during their time of service.
