Lakshmi Kataksham is a fantasy film. A Sage who practices abstinence, has two disciples - Prachandudu (Kaikala Satyanarayana) and (M. Balayya). While Vinayadandudu is a good person like his mentor, Prachandudu has bad thoughts. When it is revealed that king (Prabhakar Reddy)’s son will find treasure in the future, Prachanda kidnaps his son and raises him. Finally, Kulavardhanudu (N. T. Rama Rao), who got Padmarekha on his palm, achieves it. He saves his parents and lover Hemamalini (KR Vijaya) from the control of Prachanda (Satyanarayana).
