Steps
1 Select Your Name. - First, you must select what the name of your Limited Liability Company. You can make sure to not use a name already in use by searching in the Connecticut Online Database
2 Form Your LLC. - You can start forming your LLC by downloading the Connecticut Articles of Organization and filling in the blanks. If you do not know any part of what the form is asking you seek legal assistance.
3 File Your LLC. - You will need to send the Articles of Organization along with $120 (Check payable to the Connecticut Secretary of State) and send to: COMMERCIAL RECORDING DIVISION, CONNECTICUT SECRETARY OF THE STATE, P.O. BOX 150470 HARTFORD, CT 06115-0470
4 Apply for EIN Number. - After you have received your official LLC in the mail, you are ready to Apply for an EIN Number from the IRS. You will need to have this if you are seeking a bank account for your LLC.
