Maharashtra's new government, led by the Mahayuti alliance, will be sworn in on December 5, 2024, at Mumbai's Azad Maidan, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in attendance, according to State BJP President Chandrashekhar Bawankule State BJP President Chandrashekhar Bawankule said, "... The oath-taking ceremony of the Mahayuti government, will be held in Mumbai's Azad Maidaan, in the presence of PM Narendra Modi, on 5 December 2024..."
The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
