So, our journey begins in march of 2019 after we finished planning our next cruise. Now in our mid fifties we decided it would be nice to see the great USA for our next series of vacations and thought “why not an RV?”.
Well, the very first RV we saw was an LTV Unity MB and it was very impressive. Of course, we believed that this was only the beginning of the search for the perfect RV for us to get into Glamping.
After reviewing 14 manufactures and countless models we concluded NOTHING COMPARES to a Leisure travel van and for us nothing compared to the Unity Murphy bed with the leisure lounge plus option.
How ironic that the first unit we saw would be the one we ordered.
During our 14 month wait we lurked in these forums and watched hundreds of videos on the RV lifestyle including watching every video Dean ever did 10 or more times each.
The one video we longed for was a documented inventory of every item you might carry and where to store it. Now 12 trips in and 8 month later we took a video of every compartment and the items we store in them. While our list is specific to the UMB we hope others might benefit from this view of all the items we deem essential.
It will be interesting to see how this inventory list changes from year to year and this is just our first video.
