Leg extensions……some people love them, other believe they are useless. To me this exercise, when used properly can really enhance the pump and feeling you get in your quads.
First, let’s think of this as an isolation exercise (ie preacher curls or a strict pec dec flye). This is not a mass builder in my opinion but should be used to fully pump and exhaust just the quad.
In this video I go over the range of motion I prefer to use, why I like it and how to use this piece if you are having knee pain (Hint: you may have to skip this all together depending on the brand your gym has).
Follow along, do NOT over stretch the quad and you will be well on your way to a MASSIVE quad pump from VMO to your hip flexors.
