The Brennan Center for Justice, the New York City Campaign Finance Board, and the Committee for Economic Development hosted a day-long conference to explore public financing solutions and reforms. Elected officials, campaign finance experts, academics, and advocates discussed how public campaign finance programs can combat low voter participation and civic engagement in society today.
The Brennan Center invites speakers with a variety of viewpoints on a wide range of subjects in its events’ series. The views of the speakers are their own, and do not necessarily reflect the views of the Brennan Center.
