Shelby McEwen 🇺🇸 and Hamish Kerr 🇳🇿 decided to go to a jump off when they were both tied for gold at the end of the competition, unlike what happened when the same scenario took place in Tokyo.
McEwen gave major props to Kerr for taking the win in what he called an intense jump off.
McEwen earned silver at 2.36m
