A video from a recent session where I made my first trip of the year down to a local shingle beach which can produce some decent fishing on its day. I arrived to be met by some pretty filthy water along the shoreline but I was able to just about clear this using a heavier rated rod (approx 10g) and a 10g jig which found me a few hard fighting mackerel. I also found plenty of schoolie bass on the lighter metals which made for a really enjoyable early summer session!
