Through the First Bank mobile app
Here are the steps;
• Find the First Bank Mobile app on your phone and click on it. If you do not have the app, you can download it from the Google Play Store for Android phones and the App Store for iOS devices.
• Next, log in to your account using your username and password.
• Under the menu, click on the ‘cards’ option.
• Select the atm card you want to block.
• Next, click on the 'block card’ option and enter your PIN or password to confirm your decision.

Through an SMS
Here are the steps;
• Ensure that your phone has the phone number associated with the atm card you want to block.
• Next, send the word ‘block’ to 30012 (the code number is in the description).
• Your First bank atm card will then be blocked within 24 hours.

Through a Phone call
Here are the steps;
• Dial 07080625000 or 014485500 (the phone numbers are in the description).
• Once prompted, select your preferred language.
• Once prompted again, enter your account number.
• Next, press option 2 to block your atm card.

Through the USSD CODE
Here are the steps;
• Dial *894# on your phone.
• Next, select the quick banking option.
• Select ‘Next page’ from the displayed options.
• Next, select the ‘Card control’ option.
• Depending on how you want to restrict your card, select one of these options;
 POS
 ATM
 WEB
 ALL Channel
 Foreign
• Lastly, enter your five-digit PIN to confirm your decision.
