The Karnataka cop recruitment scam has had a major development, with the Bengaluru police arresting 12 candidates after anomalies were detected in their answer sheets. In what started as one scam involving a few students allegedly paying lakhs in bribes to be able to get the police sub-inspector recruitment scam, more than 30 people have been arrested in the case. The Karnataka government has announced a re-examination, but there are allegations of the involvement of other people as well.
