A cold December day just before Christmas & I'm revisiting a fly fishery that I'd last fished 12 months before. I'd had a great day then catching 5 rainbow trout with the fly fishing rod including some real specimens. If I could manage at least some of that success again I would be a very happy angler but was I asking too much ?
This is such a nice lake to fish, set in beautiful surroundings but it is wide open to the elements, especially for winter fly fishing & with the daytime temparture at a lowly 2 degrees, cold fingers were guaranteed !!
