Weekly highlights show for Round 18 of Spain's Liga Endesa ACB basketball league.

Another exciting week of action in Spain's Liga Endesa! Real Madrid comfortably beat Unicaja thanks to an excellent all-round team performance, and brilliant outside gameplay helped the leaders streamroll their hosts in a superb final quarter. Caja Laboral were made to sweat for their tenth successive league win. A 6-0 scoring run during the closing stages fired Zan Tabak's side to victory against a resilient CAI Zaragoza side.Barcelona Regal dug deep to fight back against Valladolid, with Pete Mickeal and Marcelinho Huertas the stars. Mad-Croc Fuenlabrada and Cajasol also fought back in their respective games to collect vital wins.

There's little change in the race for a place in the playoffs. There are now three teams tied on 12 wins. Second-placed Caja Laboral open up a small gap on the teams below. The Basques, on 15 victories, now lead the chasing pack by three wins. Real Madrid continue to top the Liga Endesa standings with 17 wins. Although both Lagun Aro and Basquet Manresa GBC have three wins each, Lagun Aro return to bottom of the league following Basquet Manresa's weekend triumph. Mad-Croc Fuenlabrada, on five wins, are now two wins above the teams currently in the drop zone.

Round 19 will take place over the weekend. There are three games on Saturday: Valencia Basket-UCAM Murcia, Cajasol-Caja Laboral and Blusens Monbus-MadCroc Fuenlabrada. The remaining six games will be played over Sunday. Look out for a mouth-watering tie that will see FC Barcelona Regal host Uxue Bilbao Basket.
