Youth Affairs and Sports Minister Anurag Thakur has saluted all the athletes for bringing historic glory to India with their stellar performance. In a social media post, AnuragThakur said that for the first time in 60 years, India has won 107 medals in the Asian Games. This is a 52 percent increase in medal tally from 2018. He said, the hard work, resilience and determination of the government to create a sports ecosystem that supports athletes at every level has brought about this historic result.
