(2 Sep 2015) Volunteers in Vienna prepared and sorted through aid donations on Wednesday, in anticipation of the thousands of migrants and refugees from Africa, Asia and the Middle East who could arrive by train from Hungary.
People in the Austrian capital donated so much that the country's railway authority provided storage near the Westbahnhof station.
Besides staple goods, money was also donated for those wanting to buy tickets to travel on to Germany or Sweden.
Volunteer translators also waited on-hand to provide their services.
