Episode three "Arkaroola Bound"

Day three would see the boys heading to the famous Arkaroola Wilderness sanctuary in the Flinders Ranges South Australia. Of course the usual mayhem ensued as they made their way through some stunning countryside for an overnight stay.

THE ARKAROOLA WILDERNESS SANCTUARY
Located 600km north of Adelaide in the ruggedly spectacular northern Flinders Ranges, this 610sq km multi award-winning Wilderness Sanctuary was founded by the Sprigg family in 1968 and continues to operate to this day with a strong emphasis on science, education and conservation to enable us, as custodians, to preserve this priceless and unique wilderness and its inhabitants into the future.

The Flinders Ranges are the largest mountain ranges in South Australia, which starts about 200 km north of Adelaide. The ranges stretch for over 430 km from Port Pirie to Lake Callabonna.
