WCW World War 3 1995 was the first ever World War PPV ever produced by WCW. The event hosted a unique battle royal where 60 men would wrestle inside 3 rings - the winner of this match would become the new WCW world heavyweight champion.
The event was held on November 26th 1995 inside the Norfolk Scope. Entrants in the inaugural World War 3 battle royal included The Giant, Eddie Guerrero, Hulk Hogan, Lex Luger, The Taskmaster, Randy Savage and Arn Anderson. Elsewhere on the card Bull Nakano and Akira Hokuto took on Mayumi Ozaki and Cutie Suzuki, Big Bubba Rogers wrestled Jim Duggan in a taped fist match, and the Sting vs Ric Flair rivalry continued on when the two met in a singles match just before the big battle royal.
