Shares in Macau's casinos have surged after China eased COVID-19 border restrictions. From July 15, people crossing the Macau-Guangdong border will not need to serve 14-days quarantine. However, visitors must hold green health codes and test negative for the coronavirus for seven days before making a trip. Guangdong accounts for nearly 50% of visitors to Macau. The border with mainland China had been shut since late March, contributing to massive losses in revenue in the world's biggest gambling town.
