Do you love rosemary soap? This beautiful natural soap video features our clay and rosemary soap and we have included the recipe.

Rosemary is a popular botanical in soap and skincare due to its anti-bacterial properties. It also has anti-inflammatory properties and is widely used to help with acne. When combined with the oil cleansing properties of clay, we can create a rosemary soap that is ideal for oily and problematic skin.

This video shows how I make my clay and rosemary soap using the cold process soap making method so that you can have a go and make it too! It's made with natural vegetable oils, is free from palm oil, and that beautiful clay gives it a delicious creamy skin feel and lather. You can find the soap recipe below! If you don't have the yellow iron oxide, you can simply leave it out of the recipe and leave it in its natural colour.

CLAY AND ROSEMARY SOAP RECIPE

200g Olive Oil
100g Shea Butter
150g Coconut Oil
50g Cocoa Butter
70g Sodium Hydroxide (lye)
150g Distilled Water
10g Rosemary Essential Oil
5g Peppermint Essential Oil
5g Dried Rosemary Leaves
15g Kaolin Clay
1g Yellow Iron Oxide Pigment

Always ensure you wear your safety equipment when making soap and do not attempt to make this soap if you do not already have experience with soap making.
