Second time using the Firman Dual Fuel 4550 H03651 generator I began having issues with the indicator light not coming on in gas mode. I emailed Firman and got a response that the switches might be stuck. That didn’t appear to be the case, but in tinkering with it I found this dumb tip that made all the difference. Hopefully if you have this problem you can find this helpful.
