Russia detained an Uzbek man who confessed to planting a bomb that killed General Igor Kirillov in Moscow. The suspect said he was acting on orders from Ukraine’s SBU security service. The attack, which occurred on 17 Dec, killed Kirillov and his assistant. Investigators revealed the suspect was recruited by Ukraine, received bomb materials, and detonated the device remotely. Russia plans to raise the incident at the UN Security Council on Dec 20. The U.S. denies involvement, while Ukraine views such killings as legitimate in the context of the war.
