An interesting comparison, recorded on real hardware (no emulation). While the SNES Version uses more colors and some transparency effects, it only runs at 30 FPS. The Sega version appears much more plain and rough in its design but scrolls in a more dynamic and fluid way at 60 FPS. However, the camera centering on SEGA can be very annoying at times, and the controls are worse due to missing buttons on the controller, which requires some workarounds. The major playability is equally good on both sides, since frame rate is not a big deal at this pace. So its tech vs design. What's your preference?
