There are rumors of a new physical battle between Indian and Chinese troops taking place, this time at Naku La in Sikkim, thousands of miles from the current standoff at the Line of Actual Control in eastern Ladakh.
Reports said the confrontation took place last week, three days ago when the People's Liberation Army (PLA) troops tried to invade Indian territory. The intrusion attempt was foiled by the Indian Army troops and physical clashes ensued, in which soldiers from both sides were declared wounded.
It should be remembered that a confrontation had taken place at Naku La before the standoff began at several locations in eastern Ladakh last April/May.
